Speaking
of design and organizing posts, Google plus is far better than Facebook.
1. Facebook- Facebook was designed to be flat with posts subsequently, i.e. hard to find an old post.
- If users had a few hundred posts with many topics, users wouldn’t be able to organize and find their posts easily in those piles.
- Some users said that Facebook has lots of users, because it’s simple. Of course, Facebook is like messengers or text messages, i.e. post once then forget about those.
- Facebook didn’t allow users to add a title to their posts.
- Facebook doesn’t allow users to add “blank space” at the beginning of a sentence, i.e. not special style allowed.
2. Google’s products, BlogSpot and Google plus Classic version. The new Google+ was awful with fonts and interface.
a. BlogSpot allows users to design their own web site, thus it could be unique with photos and pages like a professional web sites.
However BlogSpot didn’t allow users to organize many smaller posts such as short poems in smaller topics.
BlogSpot allows users to add a title to their posts.
There are quite a few features including statistics available to users to monitor their web site.
b. Google plus or Google+
Google+ has all features of Facebook, but allows users to organize their regular or smaller posts in many categories.
Google+ didn’t allow users to add a title to their posts as BlogSpot
For a researcher or professional writers, Google+ is far better than Facebook.
Google+ allows users to add “blank space” at the beginning of a sentence, i.e. special style allowed.
It’s easy to organize posts or smaller posts in Google+, however Google+ has a few bugs, e.g. users couldn’t add photo or video files after a post created. Users should be able to add photo, mp3 or video files by editing a post.
Google plus’s layout is simple. There are quite a few features including statistics available to users to monitor their web site.
One of the features that I had suggested Google+ was to allow users moving a post from a collection to another collection in a single step. Users had started a collection with a few posts. As time passed, that collection may get too big to scroll down or view all posts. Users would ONLY need to open that collection and select posts moved to another selection. Currently users would have to scroll down all posts on the main posts, and then select a post to move to another collection. Of course, I had never said that Google developers were good. Issues were still there after suggestion posed a couple months ago. Anyways Google+ was better than Facebook, thus I am still a user.
