3. Programming code generator

Year 2000: Programming code generators like Rational Rose, Rhapsody, SCP/IP code generator at Ericsson, Informatica, and PLC used at Bestech.

Seriously I didn't like working with any of those tools. I preferred codes printed on papers or flatten down on the computer screen, so it'd be easier to review and update. With those tools, we had to click on each icon to figure out what it did.

When codes were generated, there were a lot of over heads like dummy class, function, etc. Sometimes they also produced class name or function name that looked ridiculous. Generated codes looked messy to me.

Btw, I like to print out documents to review. I like trees, but I work faster or efficiently with printed materials. Programming with IDE may be the exception for working on programs with a PC.
